Thank you everyone for the kind support you have shown to us! Sam has made a full recovery, was able to leave the hospital on 8/30/17 and is back at home, back at work, and also just celebrated her 24th birthday with family. The contributions made by everyone here exceeded our wildest expectations and we cannot thank everyone enough. The donations will be put toward the hospital bills and travel expenses made during that time. Your generosity is forever appreciated. Thank you!

Please help and support my sister Sam Colyer and our family upon dealing with the medical emergency that she experienced on Sunday, Aug. 22nd. On that night, she fell due to a seizure and sustained injuries to her forehead, nose, and face, and also had multiple subsequent seizures in the days that followed while in the hospital. After three full days in the ICU at a hospital in Auburn, AL, she was airlifted to Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA, where after a full day there she was able to regain conciousness. This page is to help our family with the medical, travel, and rehabilitation expenses to aid our family as well as to support Sam as she embarks on the road to recovery.
Sam is a lively and bright 23 year old who works with foster care children and families for the Department of Human Resources in Auburn, AL. She graduated from Auburn University in 2016 and is still very much a part of the community there.
Upon hearing of her medical condition, her friends and co-workers immediately reached out, came to visit, and offered their support, which says a lot about the positive involvement Sam has in the lives of others.
The outpouring of love we have received from everyone from family members, to friends, and even strangers has been heartwarming and encouraging. Thank you for the many prayers, kind thoughts, and helpful advice. This page is a way for others to lend a helping hand by giving donations to support our family and also aid in Sam's road back to health. Any and all donations are sincerely appreciated and we are so grateful for everyone's support!
