Last night tragedy struck our dear friend SeungHoon Choi and his family when his father was inexplicably killed in what initially looks to be a terrible hit-and-run accident in Seoul, South Korea.
An investagation is currently underway to determine how this happened and who was responsible.
We are all in shock. SeungHoon is currently making arrangements to travel to Seoul as soon as possible to be with his family and offer his strength to his mother and sister as they try to make sense of this devastating loss. It is unknown how long Hooner will need to be away.
As I'm sure most of you know, SeungHoon is a talented musician and a giving friend to many here in Happy Valley. He always has a smile for anyone who walks into Chronic Town and generously supports so many of us in our various endeavors.
Please consider assisting this amazing person with his sizable travel expenses and the loss of income that he will incur due to this unexpected travesty. Let's show SeungHoon and his family just how much he means to us, and how lucky we are to have him in our community.
No contribution is too little! Any additonal funds raised will be applied to to the funeral and memorial costs for SeungHoon's father.
