Send Robotics Team to Championships

The Robotics team at Oxford Academy helps students build skills to enable careers in engineering, programming and science. Members of the team design, build and program robots and participate in multiple robotics competitions including VEX and FIRST Robotics.

Our FIRST Robotics team recently qualified for the FIRST World Championships in Houston, TX after being finalists in the Orange County Regional Competition.

However, as a public school team with limited funding, we are concerned that we will not be able to attend to this event. Our students and mentors worked very hard, spending countless hours to build a competition ready robot. It would be a great loss for the students to miss the experience of competing for the World Championship.

Any donation you can make will help us cover the cost for registration, parts to improve the robot, as well as for flights and lodging that the team urgently needs.
