TLDR: My living situation is and has been unhealthy for me in ways I can no longer ignore. Please help me get out!

Hey gang. I don't love asking for help like this, but things have gotten bad enough that I feel it necessary at this point. Many of you likely already know me, but for those who don't, I'm Punki! I'm 30, I'm trans-femme, I'm anti-capitalist as hell, and I stream very frequently over on twitch.

Due to a lack of stable income, I've had to move twice over the last year, and offload a lot of possessions. Despite my best efforts to stay independent, I've wound up living back home with my parents. While they try their best to be supportive, their willingness to respect me and my identity hinges on however much patience they have that day, often times leading to me frequently being misgendered or deadnamed. The area we live in is largely unaccepting of queer people, so I've been largely unable to leave my house at all for fear of being harassed or worse. Beyond that, this space holds an immense amount of trauma for me. As someone currently unmedicated and diagnosed with both Generalized Anxiety Disorder and c-PTSD, it has grown incredibly difficult for me to function in a way that I need to in order to support myself on a day to day basis, thanks to this environment. If that weren't enough, I've been informed we will be selling the house soon. I don't have a definite date, I just know that regardless of our collective efforts to stay afloat, we cannot afford the space we live in.

All of that being said; I need to get out. My goal is to get back to where I originally moved from; Seattle. Besides being a safe-haven for queer folk, I have a support network there that would drastically improve worst case scenario for me. I just need to actually be there. Which, given I don't have any stable income right now, is the difficult part. So I need some help.

The goal I've set is an estimation of the cost for food, shelter, and travel based on research I've done the last few months to the end. With this money, I'll be able to achieve a much healthier form of shelter that will allow me to finally grasp some stability. Streams will also improve, given that I'll have my own space and be able to be louder, stream at hours more convenient for me, and generally take up more of my own space without any friction. I'm more than happy to provide a detailed list of the budget upon request.

While things are very uncertain for me, I am luckily not on an exact clock as of yet. I know we are aiming to sell the house soon, but we've only just gotten it appraised, so the process of listing the property and finding a buyer will take some time. I don't anticipate the house being sold until sometime after the holiday season. In addition, it will take time to line up a job and shelter in Seattle even with the funds. So my current aim is to have a course of action set to be able to move out of here around the second week of January. The sooner I can leave, the better, and if I can afford to do so, I will.

In the meantime I will be streaming, doing freelance written work, and submitting job applications daily as per usual. Despite consistently working at my situation and trying to improve it, things have not been changing for the better. Thank you for any and all support, and at the very least for taking the time to read this.
