Send Peter to the 2017 Universiade

Hello.  First of all, if we haven't already met, thank you for visiting my page and considering making a donation to help sponsor my trip to the 2017 Universiade (also known as the World University Games in the United States).  The Universiade is held every two years and brings student-athletes from all over the globe together to compete in an Olympics-style sports festival.  Thanks to my status as a graduate student at Tufts University and my U.S. national ranking of 9th in Men's Sabre, I have been selected to represent the United States at this year's games.  It will be my fourth national team after Universiade 2015, and World Championships 2015 and 2016.

However, because this tournament is a festival and not part of the World Cup circuit, USA Fencing does not cover the costs associated with being on the team.  Additionally, since I do not represent Tufts on a varsity team (my eligibility was used at Boston College from 2008-2012), the University is also unable to sponsor my trip.  As a result, I am seeking donations to cover:
first: my costs to go compete and
second: if possible, the cost of bringing my coach along to be with me in training sessions and at the competition.
