Helping our dear friend -updated post ❤️

Additional wording-

I’ve amended the wording as some people have expressed confusion, others have shared that they want to make a big difference to be financially supportive and on a bigger scale, not just to pay for a holiday but about keeping a home and rebuilding a fresh start.

I was really trying to express that in my post, that things have been tough and to rally together as her friends to help.

Thankyou to everyone’s generous donations so far, they are really appreciated.

I hope that clarifies a little and that all donations will go to our friend and hopefully that can help make a massive help to her and her family……………………………………..

Our dear friend has had a difficult few years. She’s had to go through prolonged court hearings, seeking an outcome to be able to move forward. Throughout, she has been selfless and graceful. She has worked so hard to provide for her three children, two now lovely adults. I’ve seen her exhausted and close to breaking and still finding time for others. At times things have broken, the boiler, the car, the washer… uncertainty about keeping a roof over her family❤️, always another hurdle. She’s kind and wise, smart with a big smile.

She is also very proud, never burdening her friends, never asking for help and it is for those reasons I hesitate creating this but then I know her dear friends would love for her to enjoy some carefree special time. To have adventures and start her new chapter and after weighing it up, I decided seeing her sipping a margarita on white sands with her gorgeous family and her big smile trumped. Friends uniting together can bring joy.

I’m going to write a card with messages on, so if you have a message you want to leave for her, send it to me and I’ll write it on the card. I can also write messages on from those who may not be able to donate. I will transfer all donations made to her on May 6th. Thankyou
