Send Ole Senior to U.S. Nationals

Hello fellow skiers and Ski Lovers,
I am a senior at St. Olaf College with a deep 'fire-in-THE-belly' passion for ski racing. I have just finished my college season with the Ole alpine team out at USCSA nationals in Lake Placid, NY where I finished 5th overall and landed the bronze in the national slalom. I also qualified for U.S. Ski and Snowboard Nationals while doing so. This showcase event is being held in Sun Valley, Idaho later this month.
St. Olaf has funded a lot of my recent ski racing exploits - to whom I'm eternally grateful; however this prestigious event is on my own dime. I am seeking support from the ski racing community, and from anyone who's interested in my story, in order to attend U.S. Nationals and continue to represent not only St. Olaf, but Afton Alps, and the whole Midwest region to my fullest potential.
Although it may seem that I may be arriving at the twilight of my career, I feel like I'm just hitting my stride. A furious spirit still lives, as it always has, inside me that feeds my passion for ski racing. I'm sure this is true for many of you who dream in white like I do, or aspire to ski or even to possess a brisk outlook on life.
An individual's ski racing career does not last forever, but the collective spirit of the ski racing community lives on in each one of us. So, with that said and my body still kicking and willing to shred, it is only right to keep fighting until my last days and to sustain and strengthen this spirit of ski racing as if every day were the last.
