Send off for Gemma Louise tuck❤️

Hi I’m Nicole, my sister Gemma Louise tuck suddenly fell ill on the 17th of March this year, she woke up and had a cardiac arrest. Us as a family, friends or even Gemma herself did not know she had long QT syndrome and as a result suffered from multiple cardiac arrests in hospital following that day. 

Gemma then fighting for her life in the icu, after her cardiax arrest. Gemma was down without oxygen to the brain for 20 minutes and therefore has left Gemma with hypoxic brain damage. The brain damage is so servere that the brain no longer works. 

Gemma is still with us, following many examinations and tests the doctors and us as a family believe that Gemma would not want to be here this way, Gemma would want to hold her three gorgeous babies and not being able to would kill her. So the medical professionals did a PDOC assessment ( prolonged disorder of consciousness) and this then shown us that Gemma is brain dead in the main parts of the brain and that she will not recover. Gemma will be moving onto a hospice soon where she can pass away peacefully. 

Many of Gemmas friends have asked if they could put something towards her funeral, if you are wanting to put towards her funeral you can donate anything you like to this page. Any money left over will go towards the kids first Christmas without their amazing mum. 

For anyone seeing this who did not know Gemma, she was full of life, always lit up the room when she walked in. She is the most amazing human I have ever met, I am blessed for life to be her little sister.
