Hi, there! My name is Syreeta (suhREEtah), and I wrote a one-woman show just before the pandemic. I lost an opportunity to perform that show in front of a live audience, and I’ve been hustling for a stage ever since. Now, after several years of hearing the word “no,” “not right now,” or “not the right fit,” I’ve finally earned an opportunity to perform my show at The 2023 Atlanta Fringe Festival! Yay! I’ve been working to secure the funds to pay my travel expenses, but it’s been difficult to find consistent work. If you wouldn’t mind, I could really use your help to secure things like my hotel stay, airfare, food, and some of the production expenses (like hair, costuming, and lighting) that I have left to cover.
