The purpose of this GoFundMe is to raise money for airfare for <strong>two Malawian amateur radio operators who have been invited to Tokyo Ham Fair, a global amateur radio convention held every August.</strong> <strong>Elayi Banda, 7Q7EB, and Urgent Jere, 7Q6UJ, have received their travel visas and are excited to participate in this event.</strong> Our goal is to raise money for their round-trip airfare from Lilongwe, Malawi, to Tokyo, Japan, which is $2,800 each, totaling $5,600.
