<div>While leaders argue and shutdowns drag on, we’re not waiting. Jamaica needs us now.
</div>
<div>We’re filling barrels with food, clothes, and care — proof that one love still moves faster than any government.
</div>
<div>When the system slows, the people rise. Because every little thing gonna be all right. ❤️

<div>About the Campaign
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“Wi likkle but wi tallawah.”
</div>
<div>We may be small, but we are mighty — and when Jamaica hurts, we rise as one people.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In October 2025, Hurricane Melissa — one of the strongest storms in Jamaica’s history — tore across the island. It ripped off roofs, flooded homes, and shattered communities. But even in disaster, Jamaicans stand tall, proud, and unbroken.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only choice.” — Bob Marley
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now is our time to act — not wait.
</div>
<div>We cannot sit back and hope for slow government responses or endless red tape.
</div>
<div>While officials meet and budgets stall, real families are sleeping under tarps, children are missing school, and elders are without power or food.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And yes — times are hard here too. With the U.S. government shutdown and rising costs of living, we all feel the strain.
</div>
<div>But as Americans and friends of Jamaica, we know that love and solidarity stretch further than any border or bureaucracy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s why Barrels for Jamaica was born — a people-powered mission to help directly, without waiting for anyone’s permission.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our Mission
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“Live for yourself and you will live in vain; live for others and you will live again.” — Bob Marley
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Barrels for Jamaica is a grassroots effort to bring hope home — one barrel at a time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donations will help us:
</div>
<div>•	Collect and pack essential supplies donated by families and churches in the U.S.
</div>
<div>•	Ship barrels filled with food, water, clothing, and school supplies to Jamaica’s hardest-hit parishes
</div>
<div>•	Partner with trusted local volunteers and faith groups for direct distribution
</div>
<div>•	Support rebuilding efforts for homes, classrooms, and community centers
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires,
</div>
<div>but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.” — Bob Marley
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re not waiting for systems to catch up — we’re moving forward, people helping people.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why It Matters
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every barrel tells a story of love.
</div>
<div>Every donation says, “You are not forgotten.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“In this bright future, you can’t forget your past.” — Bob Marley
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We remember where we come from — a people of strength, laughter, and faith. By giving today, you’re helping restore not just homes, but hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“Don’t worry about a thing,
</div>
<div>’Cause every little thing gonna be all right.” — Bob Marley
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can make those words come alive again — not as a song, but as a promise.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“One love, one heart, one destiny.” — Bob Marley
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let’s fill these barrels with love, dignity, and strength.
</div>
<div>Because when governments move slow, the people move faster.
</div>

<div>About the Organizer
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Cornelius Caprar and friends from Gwinnett County, GA, are organizing this campaign in partnership with Jamaican community members both in the U.S. and on the island.
</div>
<div>We believe that help shouldn’t wait for politics — it should flow straight from the heart.
