Send Lewis Twins to Bigfoot Classic

Hello! Our names are Camilla and Leanna Lewis and we are from the Pueblo of Tesuque of New Mexico, the Akimel O'odham and Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona, and the Wailaki Tribe of California.

     We are 16 years old and we have been playing basketball since we were 7. Basketball has always been our passion and as we have gotten older it has given us opportunities to travel and compete. The Bigfoot Hoops Las Vegas Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada is another of those opportunities. 

     We are fortunate to be going to this tournament with the Adi-Stars, an amazing all-female Native team. 


     Our parents are teachers and have worked to provide us with as many academic opportunities as possible. We are happy to say we are excellent students. Sports provide us opportunities to compete and truly get the most out of our athletic abilities, which is why we want to take advantage of this unique opportunity.   

     We are also very passionate about making cakes. One of our dreams is to go to Carlos' Bakery, and one of their locations is in Las Vegas.




Going on this trip would not only allow us to improve as basketball players, it would simply be an amazing experience for us. Thank you for any donations.
