Until last week the Barahona family was dealing with their sister Angie being detained in Port Isabel while her 6-year old daughter Sharon was miles away in New York, part of the families separated at the border.
All of the sudden, this past Monday July 16th, their brother Lester started complaining of stomach pain, until the pain became so severe he had to go to the hospital. After some medical studies it was determined that Lester had cancerous masses in both of his lungs and another cancerous mass in his stomach. This was the cause of his unbearable stomach pain. Lester wanted to see his sister Angie and his niece Sharon, but didn't make it. Lester left us this Saturday morning without saying goodbye to Angie and Sharon.
The funds collected will be used to cover Lester's funeral expenses and to attempt to allow Angie to say good bye to his beloved brother. This family has been trough so much in such a short period of time, any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
