Send Jocelyn to College!

I am trying to raise money for my tuition for my dream college, The University of Tampa. Right now, I still have to pay $16,000 out of pocket even with grants and scholarships. I am a high achieving  child of a single parent with a 3.9 GPA, who is involved in high school sports and dance. I also am Vice President of the Dance Club at my school, as well as an active member of the American Cancer Society, The National Honor Society for Dance Arts, and my community in general. I am planning on attending the program of Applied Dance and minor in Business Entrepreneurship at The University of Tampa. My plans after college include opening a dance and performing arts studio, while also volunteering for a K-12 school in the Central Florida area. I plan to teach dance, theatre, and vocal training to children whose parents may not have the financial stability to provide this opportunity for their young children. My dreams are to make performing and fine arts more accessible to the children of Florida. Children must learn to embrace their talents and have individuals in their lives to help make their dreams come true. I am fortunate to have experienced this in my life, and I would love to be the mentor that children need to believe in and become the best version of themselves. A degree in dance and business entrepreneurship will allow me to live my dreams of helping others daily with having a voice and expressing themselves in a way that empowers them. This will ensure growth and change in our young people, as well as our community. Thank you for considering a donation for my future, and the future of our young people.
