Imagine starting school with nothing, no pencils, no books, not even a bag, and on top of that, struggling with a learning challenge no one has noticed.
In Tonga, hundreds of children face exactly that reality. Some have mild learning disabilities that go undiagnosed in mainstream schools, leaving them to quietly fall behind.
The Mustard Seed Project is here to change that, starting with a container full of school kits, toys, and hygiene items to show them they are cared for, from people all over the world.
We have the goods.
We just need your help to get them there.
We are organising a 20ft container to leave Sydney by the first week of October to Tonga, delivering hope to over 5000 children.
Our Mission
Every child deserves to know they are seen, loved, and supported, no matter where they live or the challenges they face.
In Tonga, many children start each school year without the basic supplies they need. For some, the barrier is poverty. For others, it’s something less visible: mild learning disabilities that aren’t diagnosed or supported in mainstream schools.
These children often fall behind, not because they aren’t capable, but because they don’t have the right tools, encouragement, or understanding from the system.
That’s why we launched The Mustard Seed Projects, to send a message of care from around the world and work toward identifying and assisting kids with mild learning disabilities in Tonga’s schools.
Why We Need Your Help Now
We’ve already gathered goods from generous donors: school kits, toys, and hygiene products that will help over 5000 children end the year with a strong message tell them they are SEEN & LOVED.
Your Impact
Your donation will:
• Deliver presents to over 5000 children
• Support our mission to identify and assist kids with mild learning disabilities in Tonga
• Send a powerful message to a child: You matter. You are capable. You are not forgotten.
We’ll Keep You Updated
Every donor will see the impact through photos, videos, and stories as your generosity turns into tangible smiles in Tonga. We will tag and thank our supporters publicly on our social media pages, so your kindness inspires others too.
A small seed can grow into something life changing. Together, let’s plant those seeds for Tonga’s children.
