Send Greg to DIVE Creative
The sweet, smiling, ridiculously handsome man in that photo is my dear husband. My absolute best friend, the spiritual rock of our marriage and organization, and an incredibly anointed worship leader. A few years ago, the Lord began to move in wild ways in Greg's life. He learned what it meant to spend time in the secret place and then the fruit of that began to overflow into every aspect of our ministry, but it was birthed in our worship times. Greg leads worship for our staff (American and Guatemalan) 4-5 times a week and does so faithfully. He feels called to full-time intercession and worship ministry in the context of our organization and has been actively pursuing and discovering what that means.
Earlier this year, a friend of ours encouraged Greg to look into the Dive Creative. Dive is a one week long worship and ministry school led by Rita Springer. Any Rita Springer fans out there? Worth It All was my jam back in the day. He was excited to apply but worried about causing our family financial stress should he get in.
Well, he got in! He has been hesitant to submit his acceptance for financial reasons. Missionary budget can be tight, especially after a couple years worth of weddings, bone marrow transplants and honeymoon catastrophes (still recovering financially from all of this.)
But I believe in my husband and the special anointing on his life. He never takes time away for himself and after praying, I feel very strongly that he should attend this school. So I decided to do a little covert wife operation. As in he doesn't know that I'm fundraising for this. I've never done a gofundme type thing and feel incredibly odd about personal fundraising in general (just never been good at it.) But I feel very certain that Greg is supposed to attend the Dive Creative this fall. So if you have ever been blessed by Greg's heart for worship of just want to encourage him on this journey, any contribution would be a huge deal. The school itself costs $1,500 and I am calculating about $500 for a round-trip plane ticket from Guatemala.
