Send Glenn Home with Honor

Hi! My name is Tiffany. My father, Glenn Taulton, unexpectedly passed away last week in his home in Vermont. I had talked to him just a few days before, and my brother and I were making plans to drive up from Pittsburgh with our families so he could meet his newest grandchildren. Sadly, we are instead now planning to bring his body home to Pennsylvania for burial and we will be traveling to Vermont to pack up his place there.

The costs are quickly adding up, and we need some help. We simply were not prepared for this big of an expense and the Veterans Administration only reimburses a small portion of it. Meanwhile, the funeral expenses must be paid upfront this Friday for his burial on Monday.

My dad dedicated his life to serving this country as a music teacher, petty officer in the Navy, mentor, and labor and civil rights activist. He made friends wherever he went and enriched the culture of Burlington, Vermont, where he lived the last 31 years of his life.

Please help us to give him the honorable send-off he deserves and to give everyone who loved him—in both states—a chance to say their final goodbyes.
