Send Erina on #RubyWoo2018

In our current political climate, it is easy for  me- as a Korean American woman-  to feel discouraged and hopeless.  And as the mother of a Black and Korean daughter, I am constantly wrestling with how to create a better world for ALL our children to grow up in.

It's because of this wrestling that I am excited to join the #RubyWooPilgrimage2018.  From November 4-8th, I will join 40 diverse Christian women leaders on a three-day pilgrimage through the intersectional stories of women's struggle- both in U.S. history and today.

From Seneca Falls, to New York City, to Atlantic City, to Capitol Hill, our cohort will be empowered by the stories of our foremothers and by each other to use our voice for liberation. I am excited for the learning, empowerment, and community that will come from this pilgrimage. And I am grateful to  explore what  it means to use our God-given voices and our God-ordained power to advocate for lasting change.

But to be part of this pilgrimage, I need your help.

My registration fee is $1450. And I am responsible for my registration fees, as well as my travel fees. I am hoping to raise $2,000 to cover these costs.

All funds will go directly to these fees, and any money I raise  beyond my goal will go towards providing financial assistance for others in the group.

I hope and pray that this experience will change me, will grow my leadership, and empower me to use my voice in bold and risky ways. I appreciate all your financial support as well as your prayer and encouragement along the way!
