Send Donald to Italy for his 75th!

As you all know, in honor of his 75th birthday, my father has decided, in his own majestically humble way, to throw a party where he gets to celebrate all of you, the people he loves most in the world. In building this remarkably generous gathering, he has usurped my ability to throw him a surprise party, but he has NOT dissuaded me from organizing a surprise gift.

Many if not all of you are likely considering what to give the man who throws a party for his friends on his own 75th birthday, so allow me to offer this: I can’t think of anything that would bring him more joy and peace than a trip to Italy for 10-14 days. I imagine this trip might materialize in the fall, and I want to give him the flexibility to plan it exactly how he wants, so rather than build something hyper-specific, I’ve done some research and built a GoFundMe page to help us fill a pot that he can use to get him there.

I hope you’ll all consider this when planning your gifts as I know it will fill his soul and there’s no way he’d see it coming - again, this is a complete surprise.

Funds will go towards a round-trip flight, a car, lodging, and a few bucks to spend on pasta and espresso along the way.  I'll leave this page active until at least the party, and maybe a couple days after, in case my email missed anyone.  Feel free to share this link with anyone you'd like!
