Send Deborah to Bethel

Deborah Hong has been selected to participate this year at the Bethel Music Songwriting Retreat in Redding, CA. She, along with 29 other top songwriters from all over the world, was chosen out of 630 applicants. Deborah will represent her church, North Palm, as well as the songwriting community in Charleston, SC. She is a co-founder of Holy City Music with a mission to create new, influential music and develop emerging songwriters.

During her time in California, Deborah will have the opportunity to showcase her original music. She will also work one-on-one with songwriters such as Brian Johnson, Steffany Gretzinger, Joel Taylor and Jeremy Riddle. Bethel's desire is that she will walk away with a greater level of excellence. And we want to support her in doing this! While she is there, she will have to cover lodging, transportation, and food.

Deborah believes that the community in Charleston can become a great area of influence by developing new music here- but it will require that we all work together. She needs to pay for all of her expenses by January 20th. Please give to support one of our own!!
