Help send CRRG to Champs 2017!!!

Tax deductible

Crooked River Roller Girls (CRRG) is a nationally ranked, competitive flat track, junior roller derby team that strives to make a positive impact on each of its skaters’ lives. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization (an entirely volunteered run organization) which accept girls between the ages of 7 thru 17, at any skating skill level. CRRG skaters are from all over the northeast Ohio area including: Akron, Broadview Heights, Brunswick, Canal Fulton, Cleveland, Copley, Elyria, Kent, Lakewood, Medina, Oberlin, Parma, Peninsula, Solon, Streetsboro, and Portage and Wayne Counties.

Already, many of CRRG’s members have competed in the 2016 Junior Roller Derby Association (JRDA) National Championships and 2016 Junior Olympics; tournaments in Indianapolis, Mackinaw City, Philadelphia, and Toronto, Ontario; and bouts throughout Ohio, Indiana, Nebraska, Michigan, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, New York, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Skilled and talented on the derby track, CRRG skaters are skilled and talented off the derby track, too. Many excel in academics, are members of the National Honors Society and attend college classes while still high school students; many are gifted artist and musicians; many volunteer at local food banks and animal shelters; a few have part-time jobs; and a few are still in middle school.

These CRRG skaters are: Gnat, Slug Bug, D3v1ous, Megan U. Fall, Lil’ Miss Perfect, Sophia Scor’N, The Flying Fish, Audrenaline Rush, Kryptonic Kay, Zilla, Flying Squirrel, Walking Dead Bear,  and Jolly CrusHer.

CRRG wishes to continue growing and advancing in flat track roller derby and in doing so, it is our goal and desire to participate in the 2017 JRDA National Championships from July 14th-16th in Loveland, Colorado (just a mere 1,325 miles or so from Cleveland).

To offset travel-related expenses (transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals), we request your support in a donation. All of the funds received will be used towards this trip and divided amongst the skaters attending this event. Should CRRG received additional donations, those donations will be used in offsetting operating and travel-related expenses and pay for tournament registrations in our 2017-2018 season.
Thank you for your consideration.  We are excited about the opportunity this event provides our skaters and your support means a great deal to Crooked River Roller Girls! Photo Cred- Greg Dunn
