Send Aniston to the Philippines

My daughter, Aniston, has been asked to go on her first mission trip and we need your help getting her there. Would you please take a minute to read it and then prayerfully consider helping?? What a blessing it would be for her to go and be the hands and feet of Christ. Thanks for your consideration and blessings! Her letter: Warmest greetings in the Lord!  I am writing you because I was asked if I would like to go on a mission trip to the Philippines February 15-27 2018.  For months my Dad has been talking with his Bible Study friend Bruce Kinabrew who has taken many church planting teams there.  Mr. Kinabrew was asked this week if he could lead a team on short notice and fill in where another team was not able to make it.  I know it is short notice but I have been contemplating going with Mr. Kinabrew for awhile and the door just opened.  I am excited and am writing to ask you to consider partnering with me in this ministry.  The ministry I will join will be planting churches in areas where they have not heard an adequate presentation of the gospel of Jesus.  The ministry is called Church Multiplication Coalition and they have been partnering with local pastors to plant churches of every denomination throughout the Philippines for over 30 years.  In the past 6-7 years the organization alone has planted over 3000 churches.  Their goal is to plant a church in every Barangay (village) within walking distance of every Filipino.  In the Philippines there are over 20,000 villages without an evangelical church.  This year we will be on the island of Palawan in the region of Roxas.  Poverty is the norm and not the exception.  My role will be very exciting in that I will do drama, share the gospel in public school classrooms, share in concerts and outreaches in the center squares, and even likely have the opportunity to preach.  The ministry is fully evangelistic and is purposeful in planting churches as they partner with a well organized group of local Filipino ministers and music teams.  We will do nightly concerts and crusades in the villages and during the day we will go to public schools to give out the book of hope (the New Testament in magazine form).  We could also visit prisons, hospitals, and other venues that are very open to receiving the message of Christ.  In all those places we will pray with the locals.  They are very open to the gospel and respond very freely.  We anticipate many thousands will hear and respond to the gospel.  It is not unusual to even see miracles happen because God has a heart for and touches the poor. Typically anywhere around 5000-10,000 are reached in previous trips like this.  We expect upwards of 100 new Bible Studies and 2-4 new churches started because of our visit.  I am excited at this opportunity to serve God in this ministry.  I know it will stretch me and my relationship with Jesus in a very good way.  I have already begun praying for those we will be reaching.  Would you please consider partnering with me in the following three areas? First, would you pray for our team and me?  I know I cannot do this myself.  God already said in his word to go into the entire world and preach the gospel.  I want to be obedient to that call and this is a great opportunity for me to do so. Second, would you please contribute financially for this trip?  Any gift of any amount will be greatly appreciated and all gifts are needed.  Historically for every $100 given 25 people respond to the gospel!  If I had 20 partners who each gave $100 the trip would be paid for completely.  Every gift helps toward that goal.  This amount of $2000 covers all my travel, my food, the gospel literature, and support of the local ministry follow up of all the new believers.  It is one of the most efficient ministries I have ever heard of in my young age.  I will even work to earn extra money if we can arrange for me to help you some way. Third, would you consider going or recommending someone who would like to step out in faith and see how God can use them?  When Jesus asked his disciples to follow him they dropped their nets and did so.   100% of your gift will go for the ministry expenses I will need to go.
