Send 5th Graders to Outdoors Camp

Hello all!

As some of you may know, I have had the privilege of working in a fifth grade classroom this year. It has been a tremendous experience so far, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to create educational opportunities for each of my students.

Each year the fifth graders at our school get to go to an outdoors camp for a week. For most, it will be the first time they get to sleep away from home. This March, we will have our chance to go! Our students will have the chance to engage with each other in teams to learn more about the environment, sustainability, and the importance of community.

Due to budget restrictions, our school is unable to fully cover the cost of the trip. The needs of our community are especially large this year, and we want to be able to provide a scholarship for every student who needs it. Our goal of $7,000 will ensure that every student will have the chance to attend!

I can still remember my experience at camp (Camp Marston all the way!) and would love to pass on the same opportunity to the next generation of young learners!

Help Room 121 go to outdoors camp!
