My name is Jonathan Semro. I live in Houston, TX.
I am starting this page to help my parents and my sister and her husband. Both of their homes were flooded by Hurricane Harvey and they don't have flood insurance.
My Mom and Dad(Pastor Ronald and Donna) are in their mid 70s. My Dad is the pastor of a very small church whose members where also all effected. We are still unable to get to their house to asses the damage.
Elizabeth(my sister) and her husband got 6 inches in their home. Her husband is a sheriff deputy and is having to work 16 hour days and she is pregnant with their first child so it has been difficult for them to begin cleaning up their home.
They will withdraw the money themselves and use it to replace for the following items as needed: repair supplies, carpeting, furniture, personal supplies, food and clothes. I will also be able to withdraw money for them in cases where it would be easier for me to get items at their request for them, rather than them getting out to buy things themselves.
