<div>En 2019 llegué por primera vez a una comunidad rural indígena en Chiapas. El camino era largo y polvoriento, pero lo que más me marcó no fue la distancia, sino el silencio de muchas necesidades invisibles. Ahí, entre montañas y casas de madera, conocí a familias que hablaban lengua chol y tseltal, que conservaban con orgullo su cultura.

<div>Recuerdo especialmente a los niños y niñas. Sus sonrisas eran sinceras, pero sus cuerpos contaban otra historia: la desnutrición y la anemia estaban presentes en muchos de ellos. Era imposible no sentir un nudo en la garganta al ver que algo tan básico como la salud no estaba garantizado. En ese momento entendí que no bastaba con observar… había que actuar.

<div>Lo que comenzó como una visita se convirtió en un compromiso. Poco a poco, ese primer encuentro se transformó en una misión: llevar apoyo, generar conciencia y trabajar de la mano con las comunidades. No se trataba solo de ayudar, sino de aprender, de escuchar, de construir soluciones junto a quienes viven esa realidad todos los días.

<div>Hoy sé que transformar una realidad no ocurre de un día para otro, pero también sé que cada pequeño esfuerzo suma. Porque cuando se siembra empatía, compromiso y acción, tarde o temprano florece la esperanza.

<div>“Semillas de Vida” nace como una campaña solidaria que busca transformar esta realidad, sembrando salud, esperanza y oportunidades en comunidades indígenas en situación de alta vulnerabilidad.

<div>Con esta campaña, se busca cambiar la realidad de 1,000 niñas y niños, brindándoles atención oportuna y herramientas para un desarrollo saludable.

<div>Hello, my name is Vanessa. I am a nutritionist, and I am raising funds for Indigenous children in Chiapas.
</div>
<div>In 2019, I arrived for the first time in an Indigenous rural community in Chiapas. The road was long and dusty, but what impacted me the most was not the distance — it was the silence of so many invisible needs. There, among mountains and wooden houses, I met families who spoke Chol and Tseltal, proudly preserving their culture.

<div>I especially remember the children. Their smiles were genuine, but their bodies told another story: malnutrition and anemia were present in many of them. It was impossible not to feel a knot in my throat realizing that something as basic as health was not guaranteed. In that moment, I understood that it was not enough to simply observe… action was necessary.

<div>What began as a visit became a commitment. Little by little, that first encounter turned into a mission: to bring support, raise awareness, and work hand in hand with the communities. It was not only about helping, but also about learning, listening, and building solutions together with those who live this reality every day.
</div>
<div>Today, I know that transforming a reality does not happen overnight, but I also know that every small effort matters. Because when empathy, commitment, and action are planted, sooner or later hope begins to grow.
</div>
<div>“Seeds of Life” was born as a solidarity campaign that seeks to transform this reality by planting health, hope, and opportunities in Indigenous communities facing high levels of vulnerability.
</div>
<div>Through this campaign, we aim to change the lives of 1,000 children by providing timely care and the tools needed for healthy development.
</div>
<div>The funds raised will be used for:

<div>• Nutritional assessments for children in Indigenous communities
</div>
<div>• Distribution of nutritional supplements and vitamins
</div>
<div>• Deworming treatments
</div>
<div>• Training for mothers and caregivers on healthy nutrition
</div>
<div>• Follow-up and monitoring of children’s nutritional status
</div>
<div>• Strengthening sustainable local food practices
</div>
