Sellie's recovery help and surgery

Donation protected
This is Sally ,my best friend pictured in April 2020 after falling ill with covid-19. Sally had to have CPR  administered by her mum a retired nurse, after sally was found collapsed and unconscious in her bedroom, Sally's condition deteriorated and her mum administered CPR due to Sally stopping breathing. Sally's mum brought her back  to life and an hour and half later the paramedic arrived .
Sally's mum had been informed the ambulance was going to be a four hour wait time on first calling them.
Sally's mum was asked to take her to the hospital herself, but Sally was trapped upstairs. When the ambulance crew arrived and took Sally away, with her amazing mum watching on, not knowing if that was going to be the last time she would see her daughter.
Sally is a senior nurse and contracted covid-19 whilst caring for her patient's. Sally was treated in hospital and eventually discharged home with 24 hour care. Sally is still suffering months down the line with long covid-19 affects.  And is still having to have 24 hour care, as when her oxygen levels drop she collapses.

It's a complete lifestyle changing event for Sally as she is independent and always worked hard to be where she is. Now even the simplest tasks like just getting up out of bed some day's is difficult and not manageable. Sally is not used to being the patient, she is the care giver,  not the receiver. But the past cannot be changed and we wanted to help her future, to make it comfortable and easier, in anyway we can by raising some funds to help Sally recover and pay towards some physiotherapy privately, for her aching, paining muscles in which she has lost a lot of muscle.
Not only all of that, Sally has been on the waiting list for spinal surgery since being involved in a serious RTC whilst working. Where a driver drove head on in her driving lane, causing a serious head on collision. The operation she requires, keeps being cancelled and we just wanted to raise some money to try and fund the surgery privately, as we feel as her friends she has been through enough.
It's incredibly sad to see our beautiful friend a shell she once was, once so active she'd be running around doing errands for her friends and neighbours and family, after working long days in work, she wouldn't complain she just did it. she is a true nhs/private healthcare senior nurse hero, that's had so much happen in a short space of time.
That she deserves a little break and a little helping hand in her now time of need. Even if we make £50 that would be fantastic and Sally could have a private aromatherapy massage within her home.

Sally has recently been faced with the degrading situation where her work has now stopped paying her sick pay and told her to sign on for ESA support £74.35 per week which is supposed to pay all of the bills, they also told her she would need to re-apply for her own job, which we find disgraceful. Sally without a doubt put her life on the line for others and nearly lost her own in the process.

Sally would of never come back from her respiratory arrest if it wasn't for her mum and she has been degraded like that from the job she loves, that nearly cost her, her life. A little can go so far, and we know everyone is struggling with life due to the recent world pandemic.
Even a penny raised is a penny closer to some therapy for Sally and we just wanted to know she's appreciated so much by us all. And that its ok not to be ok.
Even if we only raise some funds for creams for her skin and feet and a hot water bottle( which she's obsessed with and slippers), this little act of kindness and love is what we all need right now. To bring some comfort to Sally to help her get back on her feet, and get running around after her patients and us.

Thanks for reading guys much appreciated Cath and friends.
