Selflessness Avoids Shelf-lessness: Rotary Collab
Donation protected
An international grant supported the recent construction of libraries at primary and secondary schools in several villages in Ghana. Rotary and Rotaract Clubs from around the globe have worked together, as partners in service, for the entire project! The books are about ready to be sent over, but shelves are still needed before everyone can enjoy this new space. That’s where we come in! This fundraiser will allow the purchase of local materials (which supports the local economy!) for the construction of shelves - choose to be selfless so these libraries won’t be shelf-less! Over the course of 2021, the plan is to be able to provide these funds to our Rotary Zone 33 leaders who are liaising with the local team in Ghana in order to complete construction.
Just in case another pun is needed to get you on board with this project: Why are library shelves always wet in the morning? Because they use the Dewey decimal system!! Thanks in advance for your support!
