Self-employed Dad Needs Your Help

Please help Brad, a self-employed father with expenses while he recovers from having his face reconstructed.

Brad is the most dedicated, hard working father I know. He has always been willing to work any job and multiple jobs in order to support his family. Most recently he has become an independent contractor.

While at his last call of the day, something exploded in his face. The front of Brad’s face from the jaw up needs to be replaced with metal because it has been completely shattered. His frontal lobe has also been fractured. Brad’s jaw will be wired shut for 3 weeks and he will require extensive dental work once he has started to heal.

Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow, October 24. As you can imagine, the surgery to reconstruct Brad’s face is going to be very invasive, risky and long.

Being an independent contractor, if Brad does not work he makes no money and his wife Trudy is just getting started as a real estate agent. Brad needs Trudy’s help and support during this difficult time. Like Brad, if Trudy is not selling houses, there is no money coming in. Together Brad & Trudy have 2 children. Their daughter just moved away from home in September to go to university. Their son is at home.
