Self-Defense Courses for the AAPI community

Over the past year, along with other friends and family from the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community, I have experienced a significant rise in hateful, aggressive, violent acts. Several friends and family members have reached out to me in the hopes that I could teach them and their elder family members to protect themselves.
I am raising funds to support the AAPI community and their allies to access self-defense courses in New York and Los Angeles to start. My ultimate goal is to make sure our community and allies have the confidence and knowledge to step in to help if they see any violence or injustice occurring in front of them without bringing harm upon themselves.
The first course will be a series of 3 classes conducted by Unlimited Martial Arts Academy in Brooklyn, NY https://unlimitedmartialartsacademy.com and will begin on May 2nd for three weeks. The classes will be in-person and hands-on. All levels are welcome, especially beginners.
I am also working with Nikki Niestemski https://www.nikkinie.com on a protective energy online workshop for those wanting to safeguard themselves from negative encounters. Date and time, TBD.
I'm leaving the training to the professionals, and hope we can raise enough money to spread these teachings to more large cities that have the most victims.
