Help Selena fight Leukaemia

Hi everyone, my name is Elliott. Today and every day until the end of her treatment, I'm asking for your help to assist a close friend of mine, Selena Steiner tackle the most significant challenge life has thrown her way.

On the 10th of June 2022, having felt under the weather, she had a routine blood test and was made aware of a high white blood cell count in her blood work. After further investigation in the hospital, she was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) with Philadelphia Positive (Ph+) Chromosome. This type of cancer starts in blood-forming tissue such as bone marrow and causes large numbers of abnormal blood cells to be produced and enter the bloodstream.

Selena has since begun fighting this disease through chemotherapy and further treatments, the cost of which is covered whilst you are admitted as a patient in hospital. However, Sels will need to continue treatment at home by taking prescription medication in addition to her hospital visits for the next two years at a significant personal cost. Lacking the ability to work or be supported financially to the extent required, we are asking for your help to raise the funds necessary to ensure that she is able to continue on the pathway required to defeat this terrible disease.

All funds raised will go directly to the purchase of medication, a high quality wig for Selena to wear during the course of treatment, and personal costs such as food and transport while she is unable to work.
