<div>La ROVIH es una organización sin fin de lucro fundada en el año 2017, la cual reúne activistas y organizaciones civiles y cuenta con presencia en seis regiones del Estado de Oaxaca (Costa, Istmo, Cuenca del Papaloapan, Mixteca, Sierra Sur y Valles Centrales) para dar respuesta a la pandemia del VIH y proveer servicios a toda la población que no tiene acceso a servicios médicos y educativos en Oaxaca mediante prevención, detección, acompañamiento y vinculación.

<div>Para la ROVIH la visibilidad de las poblaciones LGBTIQ+ es de suma importancia, y más de aquellas que se han encontrado históricamente en un mayor estado de desigualdad, es por ello, que la Red Oaxaqueña por el VIH, realizará el “Segundo Encuentro Trans Indígena y Afrodescendiente del Estado de Oaxaca” del 26 al 28 de septiembre del presente año en Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, en donde estarán personas trans de las 8 regiones del Estado de Oaxaca

<div>El primer encuentro, tuvo como objetivo analizar el acceso a la justicia, los Derechos Humanos, la seguridad y las acciones afirmativas en materia electoral, para las poblaciones trans de las comunidades indígenas y afrodescendientes del Estado de Oaxaca, para ello contamos con la presencia de diversas dependencias gubernamentales, organizaciones de la sociedad civil y empresas socialmente responsables.

<div>Intercambio de experiencias de personas trans indígenas y afrodescendientes desde nuevas narrativas;
