Venezuelan family needs your help!

Pierce Elementary School is the magnet school for the ESL (English as a Second Language) program and we are so lucky to have many families from all over the globe and have many languages and cultures represented in our building.  The Diversity Committee and Community Education is hoping to help raise money for relatives of a Pierce ESL family in need, due to the crisis in Venezuela.

Please consider helping  Anyelo, Meiby and their 9 year old son, Angeimer seek refuge in Belgium and escape the nightmare going on in Venezuela.  The crisis in Venezuela continues to worsen.  Residents struggle to survive with major food shortages, extremely limited access to healthcare and medicine, and violence (Caracas has 2nd highest murder rate on the planet). Angeimer suffers malnutrition and Meiby is unable to receive the medicine that she needs for her severe endometriosis.  We sincerely thank you for any support that you are able to provide.

Our goal is to collect $5000 for the following:
Passport $250 x3 (if no inflation)
Visa $200x3
Safe Taxi to the airport (7h !) $150
Flight ticket Caracas-Brussel $1000x 3
First expenses (clothes, meals, school, furniture...)$200

Family and the Belgium government will take care of them, by providing :
