Farming supplies in Kenya-Hunger relief in Malawi

Project 7th Trumpet - Mission Initiatives continues to support grass root efforts in collaboration with those in less fortunate conditions. The collaboration focuses on those in a particular region to develop an economic plan and utilize what they have already. We then help fill the gaps with needed resources. Almost always, the support is on a micro level. This call for funds is for farming supplies, specifically fertilizer and seed, for 5 acres in western Kenya. The crops harvested will feed more than 200 orphans while producing ongoing seed. Excess will be sold at market to raise funds to continue the farming cycle. The orphans themselves are taught how to farm and then bring to market.
Project 7th Trumpet - Mission Initiatives works closely with Bishop Chris Lusweti of Eldoret, Kenya. Under his leadership and in collaboration with us, a successful initiative involving chicken farm development was established. This initiative is still expanding throughout the nations of East Africa. There are 5 acres in the region that has been secured and completely prepared to be fertilized and seeded ensuring a bountiful harvest.
In Malawai, Pastor Duncan Nyozani oversees many works that benefit hundreds in the region including many orphans. They have worked hard to prepare a harvest to ease the extreme effects of hunger effecting almost all in that region of southeast Africa. A substantial harvest is expected in April due to their hardwork and faith. At the current time there is an extreme shortage of food. The assistance needed is to bridge the time gap between now and harvest for those he serves and the community!
It is our hope that you would consider supporting this effort! More about mission Initiatives can be viewed at Project 7th Trumpet and on our Facebook Page: Project 7th Trumpet Mission Initiatives
