See Bentley Miniature Railway into 2021

Bentley Miniature Railway, established in 1985, is a small volunteer-run 7.25" railway in rural Sussex.  Due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, we have been unable to run for much of 2020 and have made the difficult decision, because of the risk to our members and the visiting public, not to run any Santa Special services for families this year.  We are devastated to have had to make this decision as we know that we have very loyal supporters who love these events.  However, the safety of our volunteers and the public is paramount. 

Our Santa Specials, along with other summer gala events, bring in the majority of our annual income which enables us to operate, develop and improve our railway and services and, obviously, we will not now receive this income despite still having to meet our significant overheads.  If you would like to show your support for the railway by donating a small amount towards our fundraising goal it would be gratefully received.  We sincerely hope with your support to be able to reopen in 2021 and look forward to seeing you again.  Thank you for your support; we wish you well over the festive season.
