I’m Sammy Yozzo and I’m raising support for Watch Duty because when wildfires strike, every second matters. Watch Duty’s team of active and retired firefighters, dispatchers, and first responders listens to real-time radio traffic, verifies information, and turns it into clear, actionable alerts for communities and emergency crews. Their work is not crowdsourced noise; it is trusted, human-led monitoring that delivers life saving updates as situations unfold.
Too often people get information too late or are overwhelmed by unclear reports. The funds raised through this campaign go directly toward keeping Watch Duty staffed 24/7, improving the clarity and speed of alerts as conditions change, and expanding coverage into more at-risk areas. That means faster warnings to families, better situational awareness for firefighters, and resources that help communities prepare and respond sooner.
This is about making real-world impact in urgent moments. Your support helps keep these alerts free and accessible so anyone in harm’s way can act sooner and stay safer. Please join me in backing Watch Duty’s mission to solve obvious problems for underserved communities and to bring life saving information to those who need it most.
Donate now to support constant monitoring, clearer updates, and expanded coverage. Your contribution helps people get the information they need when it matters most.
