Second Chance for The Gardners

Donation protected

During the summer of 2017, Jason Gardner was the victim of an assault in New Haven, Indiana. Jayson was beaten to unconsciousness and left for dead in a ditch near his home. It is believed this assault was racially motivated. The investigation and trial are still in process.

Jason is the second oldest of 7 children in a two-parent household. Because of ongoing harassment by some members of their community, the family was forced to move to an adjacent town just a few miles away. In addition to his horrific experience and the aftermath of harassment, which is still ongoing, one of Jason's parents is suffering a chronic health condition and is undergoing brain surgery in just a few weeks.

This family is doing everything in their power to keep up with the financial and emotional burden. But they could use our help. If you have ever felt like you wanted to do more, but didn’t know what you could do, this is an opportunity. This family is hurting; financially and emotionally. They are fighting and working and doing their best.

A small group of people have come together to see what they could do to assist our community members through this time. Please consider a donation.

Thank you.
