Sebo Babies Fund

This page is to help raise money for Blake and Rachel Sebo who have recently had twins that were born 11 weeks prematurely.

Rachel is a full time grade school teacher while Blake is the promotion manager and research director for our local channel 5 news. 

I want to start off by explaining in the last year Rachel spent approximately 345 of 365 days throwing up at least once a day.  She had hpylori  the first part of the year and was pregnant with twins the second half.  Rachel's original due date for the twins was February 22nd.

After a routine check up in early December Rachel found out that one of the twins had IUGR (baby wasn’t growing enough due to a faulty placenta) and she had preeclampsia. This forced her to stay in the hospital as her blood pressure was very high. 
On Saturday night, December 9th Rachel had a very scary pulmonary edema that led to an emergency c-section. #SeboTwins were born 11 weeks early.

Elias was 2 lb 11 oz  and born at 9:24pm; Evelyn was 2 lb 1 oz and born at 9:26pm (not even a 5lb bag of sugar).
The babies will be in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) until fairly close to their original due date so they can continue to fully develop. 

As you can imagine this has been a very exhausting and emotional time for both Rachel and Blake. 

Rachel will be unable to work this school semester, therefore money is tight.  Blake is trying to balance work and time with his family.
Short term disablility will only help for 6 weeks after the babies are born. They will be in the hospital for at least another 3-5 weeks AFTER disability runs out.

The bills from the hospital alone will be quite large and that does not include the bills once they are able to take the babies home.
