Help Sebastien race to Greece
and provide bicycles for students in rural Africa!
Sebi Cicleta is preparing to ride the Transcontinental Race 2018! 3800km by bicycle, totally unsupported. In 14 days. He can do that because he has a bicycle.
Meanwhile, students in rural Africa could use a bicycle too! A bicycle helps students get to school ready to learn, increases attendance, improves performance.
That's the Power of the Bicycle!
World Bicycle Relief is an association we feel very committed to. Their field work empowers thousands of individuals through bicycles.
The majority of your donation will go to projects of World Bicycle Relief.
20€ can buy a new wheelset
45€ is enough to buy a mechanics toolkit
A 130€ bicycle is a game changer for a student's life
The rest will fuel the ride
1. Food and drinks (10.000 calories/day)
2. Places to sleep and take a shower
3. Emergency expenses and call mom :)
About the Transcontinental Race
The race starts on 29th of July in Geraardsbergen, Belgium, and will end in Meteora, Greece, whenever the participants arrive. The maximum time to be an official finisher, is 17 days (average 230km/day).
