Seattle, Oklahoma or bust

Hi,  I'm Kathryn.    I am 62 years old.  I live in Glendale, Arizona which butts up against Phoenix's west side.  My son, Eddie, has been living with  for 2 1/2 years and we decided a while ago that we wanted to move.  My son has been saving for some time.  On the 1st I informed the owner of my complex that we would be moving in a few months.  On Thursday, the 3rd,  there was flooding in my apartment (a recurring problem) and I texted the owner.  He texted me right back and said he couldn't get a plumber because it was a holiday weekend.  It's things like that which made us want to move.  It was a blatant lie (again) (slum lord) and I admit, it pissed me off, so I told him I expect him to take care of it regardless of the holiday.  He said he didn't like my attitude and gave me a 30 day notice.  Eddie and I have been trying to quickly find a new home but though he has the income, he has a mark on his credit.  I am on a low fixed income, and though I have good credit with no marks I don't have the income.  Eddie will be using his savings to buy a trailer but I have few places to go.  The few friends I have in the area do not have room for me.  I could have gone to our family property in Berry Creek, California but sadly the community as well as our property was decimated in the Bear Fire.  I have a friend who lives in Seattle and she said I could live with her.    I may also have the option of going to my cousin's in Oklahoma.  My plan is to grab my 2 kitties and drive there.  It might take me longer to get there than other people but I figure I will have to get a room for at least 4 nights.  I will also need gas, meals and water.  I expect my costs to run $100 per day.

I will need funds by Oct 3rd as that is the end of my 30 days.

If you could please help, I will be eternally grateful.

Thank you for your consideration,
Kathryn
