Emmy’s Christian Yoga Training

In a world growing faster and faster, I’ve come to learn the importance of slowing down. With the development of two chronic illnesses (Palindromic Rheumatism and Dysautonomia also known as P.O.T.S.), I’ve found it even more important to pursue self care so that I could be present for my family and friends. Holy Yoga has helped me pursue health in ways that I could not have otherwise. It has helped me grow in an intimate relationship with Jesus, The Spirit and The Lord in meditation and focus on the Word. It has helped me stay physically connected to my body even on days I am physically unable to even leave the house due to my chronic illnesses. 

In my journey to manage my illnesses God has heavily put it upon my heart to pursue training as a Holy Yoga instructor. My dream is to bring Christ-centered yoga to my local church and community, and to bring others to a deeper intimacy with Christ, perhaps for the first time. I hope to help people connect with their God-given body in a way that is accessible at any skill level or stage of life. I want others to experience spiritual and physical wholeness in a way that is unique to practicing yoga and spiritual meditation.

I am starting this GoFundMe to raise money for the cost of training and certification. I will start the online class training in Feburary and hope to have most if not all of this money raised by June 2018. The cost of this training includes 225 hours of yoga instructor training that is learning the foundations of yoga but also involves a time of spiritual growth to become an established leader, teacher and support a full yoga ministry.

For everyone who is willing to help me achieve this goal, I do hope that once my training and certifications are complete, you’ll be able to join me for free classes and, Lord willing, a few online videos, where you too can receive and be fed in the fullness of a whole body spiritual experience connecting with the Lord and hearing from Him in Word, meditation and yoga.
