Search And Recovery Unit Equipment Maintenance.

Lough Derg Sub Aqua Club Search and Recovery Unit is a very active unit. We pride ourselves in our ability to mobilise both locally and Nationally when called upon .Our ability to remain such an active unit is a credit to our volunteer divers and support crew.

2020 has been a very challenging year as all funding and support has been completely stopped by Covid 19  restrictions.

Previous funding would have come in the form of donations from the generous public, street collections ,church gate collection ,safety cover for events such as Triathlon and Rowing events .

With the permission of the authorities we have been fortunate to maintain a training schedule and to provide a positive presence when required or called for.

As we have no means of funding currently we must ask the public for their support over social media,

This vital funding will go towards the service and upkeep of Search and Recovery equipment such as Underwater Communications Equipment, Air compressor Maintenance, Boat and Trailer Maintenance and much more.
