Sean's Massage School Education

Donation protected
I have studied massage, health, wellness for more than half my life, and have always had a desire to help others.
My father is a chiropractor and has been practicing for 36 years in Up State NY. His practice is, and has always been, adjacent to the house I grew up in. While playing in the front yard, I would constantly watch his patients walk into his office "crooked", and walk out "well". I would spend time in his office on Monday nights, when he offered free chiropractic care to local high school sports athletes, and marvel when those same athletes who suffered sprains and strains the week prior, march out on the field that same week, and play for the local schools.
At the age of 10, I began reading though some of his old books and notes from school. After school, I would go into the front office, and started massaging one of his employees as she typed and entered info on the computer. After a few weeks, I noticed she would sit back, relax in the chair, and let me fix her up. When we were finished, she would immediatly get back on the computer, and tended to finish her day strong, and ahead of schedule.
Throughout my teenage years, I continued to study and practice new and developing massage techniques on various friends and family members, and developed quite a reputation for myself. Over the years, helping others feel well not only became a habbit, it became a passion.
At the age of 15, I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury after falling 40ft to the base of a local water tower, shattering the left half of my skull, breaking ribs, left hip, and knee. My father immediatly came to my assistance and took it upon himself to quickly learn as many techniques as possible to help me recover from TBI. At his behest, and after a heated confrontation with the neurologist covering my case, he was able to apply a handful of various healing techniques that not only saved my life, but also saved my brain.
In the 20 years since my accident, I have been able to make a full recovery from that tragic event. I am ready to repay the favor to the alternative medicine field by becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist, and to utilize the wealth of knowledge if have garnered over the years, in order to help others to live healthier, weller, and fuller lives.
I have the required texts, a massage table. I have met with the President of the School and am in good standing with most all the other Administration. I have my foot in the door and need the financial nudge to make my dream come true.
Any and all help in reaching this goal would be both appreciated and graciously accepted.
Thank you all for contributing to the future of the Hogan Healing Hands Massage Practice.
