We are the family of Stephen and Seana (Camp) Thorkildson. We all know Seana as a vibrant soul with a big smile and warm heart. She's a mom to Brockton and loves outdoor adventures with her family.
Seana came home early from work on Friday, July 27, 2018 feeling poorly. By the morning of the 28th she spiked a fever of 104 and was rushed to Maple Grove Hospital.
Later that day, Seana became completely noncommunicative. A team of specialists at North Memorial hospital were notified of Seana's condition and asked to have her transferred here.
She is currently resting peacefully in the ICU of North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. An MRI was conducted upon her arrival, that revealed a small amount of swelling around her brain stem. She has undergone a multitude of tests to determine the cause of her sudden illness.
So far, we have no answer and it remains a mystery. She is surrounded by the love of her husband, Stephen; as well as her mother-in-law, Penny; and many friend who visit and sit with her. We know there are others of you who are separated by distance but love her no less than those who can be near. We're helping the Thorkildson Family raise money to support any expenses and costs associated with the medical care and family living expenses as long as needed while Seana is in the hospital and recovering. Your donation will help cover ANY needs the family has while Seana is in the hospital, this will allow Stephen to focus his energy where it's needed, on his wife and family. We may increase the amount asked for as needed to subsidize hospital and potential recovery therapy fro Seana.
