Sean Shields Heart Attack Fund

Like most Saturday mornings we set out for the beach, hunting sea shells, a swim or treasuring hunting, Sean Shields and I looked forward to relaxing and enjoying our day.  Leaving the house the morning of January 13, 2018, we recieved the CELL PHONE WARNING OF INCOMING BALLISTIC MISSILE for Hawai'i.  SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY.  We decided there was no true place to shelter and went on to the beach. We passed a group of bikers, all huddled around each other looking at the phones. We went to the east side of Sandy Beach, to look at the beautiful ocean and sky of the Hawaiian morning.

We parked, Sean called his 11 year old daughter and hanai son on the mainland. If we were going to die, this is heaven on earth .

A few minutes later Sean became violently ill, throwing up. He tried to cool off both of us thinking it was food poisoning. Sean couldn't stop throwing up.

Sean said he was feeling worse and needed to get help. We could not get thru to 911, due to the calls in the system. With strength from God, Sean was able to drive us in his truck to Straub Clinic in Hawai'i Kai.

Once parked he went inside, collasped, his heart stopped beating and he was not breathing. The doctors and nurses, I could hear screaming CALL 911 911 He's Coded. 911 . A doctor took me aside and said he does not have a heart beat or is breathing, they are working on him. I waited, and sometime later the doctor came in and said his heart was beating, he was breathing. The EMT's and ambulance, transported Sean to Straub Hospital ER and once there went into emergency  surgery for his heart. The doctors said he is a miracle as only 8% of people survive such a massive heart attack, cardiac arrest, with CPR .

Sean is slowly healing, has a long way to go. His heart needs to heal, We all need to heal. Sean needs help with the massive medical bills and wont be able to go back to work for awhile. If you can help with anything for Sean, we would be so greatful. Sean no longer has the use of his company truck vehicle to drive to any of his doctor appointments. That has been taken away.

We have our faith in God. We dont know how long it will take Sean to heal, to be able to drive or even go back to work
I am disabled myself. I have business to run, Carats & Karats Fine Jewely, Antiques & Collectibles.

Philippians 1:21 - 24 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 23.  I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is better by far; 24 but it is more necesary for you that I remain .  My work is not yet down.
