Sean Ouellette’s road to recovery

On April 23 my husband was half a mile from home when he was hit head on by a drunk driver in a full size Chevy truck. He is currently still in trauma icu and suffered both of his legs and wrists being broken, his pelvis and neck along with bleeding on his brain and multiple internal injuries. His doctors have said these are “devastating” and “traumatic” and “shattering” injuries. He is still in a coma and has already undergone 5 surgeries for his legs just to stabilize them. He still needs many more for reconstruction as they have had to remove muscle, tissue, and skin and he will need bone graphing to replace the pieces. Sean has a long road to recovery to heal from this horrific situation. The driver did not have a license, or insurance either. Those were his only charges that night and he was released the next day! The police are doing a full investigation and charges are pending but that’s not good enough! Sean is fighting for his life, his legs even, praying they don’t have to amputate from lack of blood flow. We have been out of work for almost a month because of the pandemic and we have our 8 year old. He was the sole provider for our family and I am juggling going back and forth to the hospital and schooling our son. I know times are tough for a lot of people and money is tight but every $1 adds up and counts. Medical bills are going to pouring in soon on top of our living expenses and caring for our young son.
