Sean M. Lavis funeral funding

Sean Lavis was a brother, cousin, nephew, friend and companion to many.  On October 24th, Sean Matthew Lavis took his own life. He was only 24 years old, leaving behind 26 cousins, 18 aunts and uncles.

Finding inner peace was not easy for Sean. He had a sensitive heart living in an unforgiving world. His whole life, he battled depression and anxiety, but he hid it from the ones he loved with his humor and charisma. His depression was undiagnosed and he ultimately gave in to his self criticism and self doubt. Keep your children close to your heart and constantly remind them that you will always love them. They don’t always know that.

Sean was sweet and sensitive. He was kind and cared about every living creature.  He was smart and loved talking to people.  The pain of losing someone to suicide is unimaginable. Our hearts go out to his father Matt, his sister Melanie, and his brother Patrick.
