We are members of Ray Burton's large Hawaii Ohana.
If you know Uncle Ray... you LOVE Uncle Ray... and have likely danced with him at Dukes on Sunday to Henry Kapono singing "Free Bird", by Lynard Skynyrd.
This sweet man welcomes everyone with smiles and true aloha.
Uncle Ray was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2014 and has undergone surgery and chemotherapy in his battle to fight it. With amazing will power and strength he has maintained a healthy diet and a positive attitude. Unfortunately, this cancer is too aggressive and our beloved "Free Bird" will be flying on soon.
Like many of Uncle Ray's extended Hawaiian family who know what he is going through, we kept saying "I wish there was something we could do". Then we thought... maybe there is! We are reaching out to Uncle's large ohana to let the aloha pour in.
Uncle Ray would like to visit his home state of Kentucky and say good bye to his family. He needs money to fund this venture. We believe, if we ALL give a little, it will help Uncle Ray A LOT!
Please join us in this endeavor in loving our sweet Uncle Ray before he flies away.
