Save Romeo from FIP

Alex and I are heartbroken to share that our kitten Romeo has been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis, or FIP. This disease is fatal in cats unless they receive a life saving medication.  Unfortunately, this medication is EXTREMELY expensive. The treatment involves 12 weeks (84 days) of daily medications and routine bloodwork. 1 pill costs $32, and Romeo will need 2 daily . So $64/day could literally save his life. In desperation, we are reaching out to friends and family to see if they may be able to help us pay for this treatment that our sweet kitten will die without. Romeo is normally an energetic, playful, and extremely loving cat, but over the past week he has suffered greatly. He won't eat, as he has fluid in his belly, he sleeps all the time, and he has stopped grooming himself. We are beyond devastated, and we know our two other cats won't understand where their sweet little brother went if we lose him. Romeo hasn't even had two full years on this earth, and it is extremely unfair that we have to even ask this of you all, but we have no other options right now. We want him to get better so he can go back to stealing chicken thighs off of our stove and chirping at all hours of the night to wake us up.
