$5 Blankets for San Diego's Homeless

San Diego's homeless do not always have a warm place to sleep at night. The shelters provided fill up and there is no place to go. Many sleep on the sidewalk under the freeway overpasses and a warm blanket is always needed. 

This will be the fourth year I will be taking blankets to Alpha Project in downtown San Diego. They provide temporary shelter and services for the homeless. They have told me blankets are what they need most. The kind people at Anna's Linens  have agreed to sell me their $10 blankets for just $5 each! 

Last year I took over 400 blankets to those in need thanks to your donations!  This year, I want to raise $3000. That's enough for 600 blankets! Each $5 donation will buy one blanket and keep someone warm. The temperatures in winter can dip into the 30s! Please help me help others. 

I am so blessed to have so many generous people willing to help others. Remember this - "Nothing is ever lost by giving."
