Hello and thank you for clicking through to our fundraiser and call for donations.
We have set up this SCRUBS FOR ALL (previously SCRUBS FOR WALES) campaign to fund our production quality RED SCRUBS - TUNICS AND TROUSERS - sizes XS to 5XL and their DONATION to care homes, carers, pharmacies, doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants and anyone frankly putting themselves at risk on our behalf on the frontline of the Covid19 pandemic across the UK.
We’re a micro manufacturing business located in a little industrial estate in Clydach, South Wales specialising in the production of flags for films, TV and festivals, castles, regiments and more (www.reddragonflagmakers.co.uk).
As with so many businesses since March 2020, our order book for festivals and events has been decimated by the Covid 19 pandemic, so we have diversified to firstly survive and secondly to contribute to the war-like effort to help those who help all of us.
Because the majority of our staff have come from marginalised backgrounds (we’ve trained and up-skilled hundreds at our own expense in the past seven years) we are doing everything we can to make sure that those in need have at least the bare minimum income to live on and so we've kept our factory open. We’re determined not to quit on our livelihoods and the business we’ve built up, so we've created a two pronged SCRUBS manufacturing approach:
We are making and selling NAVY AND GREEN SCRUBS through a separate website WWW.SCRUBSFORALL.CO.UK (previously making for the Welsh Government supply chain and the NHS contractor, Alexandra - which stopped mid May 2020) to supplement our flagmaking business.
AND THEN - this is where the fundraiser comes in....
....using EVERY PENNY of the donations raised by this fundraiser, we are making RED (well we are Red Dragon Flagmakers.....) SCRUBS FOR ALL to DONATE direct to care homes and other front line workers who cannot access SCRUBS through the NHS supply chain.
Everyone at Red Dragon Flagmakers and those working with us within our local communities involved with this fundraiser is working on VOLUNTARY AND UNPAID basis in a combined and tour de force effort to get as many SCRUBS FOR ALL made and out to where they are needed most - our loyal team don't HAVE to volunteer and WORK but they WANT to work to support front line workers in any way they can. No volunteers or unpaid workers are making NAVY and GREEN scrubs, only RED.
